bus will leave the church at 6:00am and return around 11:00pm. The Cost of this
adventure is $60. The deadline to sign
up and pay is Sunday, August 29th.
Everyone is
cordially invited to a reception Sunday, September 12th immediately
following the 11:00 AM worship service. Please join us as we celebrate the
ordination of Deacon Ann Boutcher.
Newcomers Celebration
and Information Night:
Dear
newcomers, if you have not yet attended a newcomer’s celebration at the home of
Tripp and Leslie Jeffords, please make plans to join us for a drop-in on Sunday,
September 19th from 4-6 PM. This will be an occasion for you to learn more
about St. Paul's, meet some of the staff and lay leaders; and if you are so
inclined, to find out how to go about joining the church. This is an informal
social and you needn't bring a thing. If you are able to let us know you are
coming, please call Vicki in the church office. However, reservations are not
required. We really hope you'll join us!
Directions: You may find parking in either of two places. Out
of the church parking lot, take a right, proceed to 12th avenue, and take
another right. (If you are able to walk a few hundred feet) Proceed a block and
a half to Creel Oil Company. It will be on your left hand side off of 12th
avenue. They are not open on Sunday, so you should find parking in front of
their business. We are located across 12th Avenue from Creel Oil. (If you are
not able to walk distances) After taking a right onto 12th, proceed one block
and take another right onto Oak Street, then take an immediate left onto
Sweetbriar Lane. Our house is located at
the end of the cul-de-sac on the
left hand side across from the pool. We are the white house, with green shutters,
and a white fence around the backyard. We have driveway entrances from both
12th avenue and Sweetbriar Lane. Our address is 706 Sweetbriar.
Mark your
calendars now! The Wild and Crazy Auction will be held on October 8th,
6pm in the Parish Hall. You won't want to miss this very special event, it is so much fun it can only be done every other
year. Tickets will be available beginning on Rally Sunday. Plan now to get
yours!
